We’re more than meets the eye!

Vision Source Mandan is focused on patient care.

And we have been since day one! We believe in our slogan “We’re more than meets the eye!“. Dr. Little, Dr. Schmidt, and Dr. Schauer plan their patient schedules so that they can spend quality time with each patient. It seems like in today’s complicated healthcare system, patients are getting to spend less and less time with the doctor in the room. In spite of that, we strive to maintain that focus on patient care.

We’d rather see fewer patients each day if that means we get to take the time to get to know you. The better we get to know you, the better we can meet your visual needs because we understand how you use your eyes on a daily basis.

Focus on your health

We know that you aren’t just a pair of eyeballs. You have a body connected to your eyes! Therefore, we know how important it is to consider overall systemic health. Among other things, this is why we check your blood pressure when you come in for an eye exam as well as document any medications you may be taking. There are systemic issues that can cause problems in the eyes that we want to look out for. And in turn, there are problems that can pop up in the eyes that can be a sign of an undiagnosed health problem. The eye is truly the window to your health!

Focus on technology

Technology helps us to better serve our patients. Wve various equipment in the office that can do amazing things. Whether it’s the VisiOffice that can measure down to the tenth of a millimeter for your eyeglass lenses or the OCT that can capture high-definition images of your retina, we know that technology is a great asset to eye care. We invest in technology.

Focus on premium products

We know that we don’t have the cheapest eyeglasses in town. And that’s okay because that is not our goal. We choose our frame and lens vendors because they give us quality optical products that carry good warranties and durable materials that stand up to wear-and-tear. For example, this is why we carry Crizal anti-glare products. They make your lenses easy to clean and help make them more durable against scratches; not to mention they help diminish that annoying glare.

It is true that “you get what you pay for” and we want our patients to receive quality optical products for both their frame and their lenses.

We’re more than meets the eye!

Let the doctors at Vision Source Mandan show you how.
